Spend four unforgettable months teaching English in India, one of the world's most colourful, welcoming and fascinating countries. This all-inclusive internship is designed for first-time teachers, with everything arranged for you, from airport pick-up to your accommodation and meals.
You'll teach conversation and practical English at local public and private schools, helping students from primary school to 12th grade grow in confidence. Along the way, you'll learn Hindi, discover Indian culture from the inside and gain real international teaching experience.
No degree is needed, and a 120-hour TEFL qualification is included, so you'll come home qualified and ready for your next teaching job.

Punjab

How much does the India TEFL internship cost?
The programme fee is £699. It includes a 4-month teaching placement, orientation, accommodation and meals, a monthly living allowance of Rs 7,500 to 10,000, airport pick-up and drop-off, Hindi lessons, visa document processing, 24/7 local support and a 120-hour online TEFL qualification. Flights and the visa fee itself are not included.
Do I need a degree to teach English in India?
No. You don't need a degree for this internship. You need to be a fluent English speaker with cultural sensitivity and enthusiasm, and a 120-hour TEFL qualification is included in the programme.
Where in India could I teach?
Placements are with local public and private schools in states including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana and Chhattisgarh, with options in Mumbai. We'll discuss your preferences when you apply.
