Headstart Group offered a lot of valuable advice…
Headstart Group provided me with full support during the recruitment period. Even though I was not in Hong Kong and had no possibility to be present during the interview with my school, it managed to organise the interview via skype taking into consideration the time difference between HK and my country. After I got the school’s offer Headstart Group provided me with very detailed information about my school’s daily life and the duties i was going to have. So, when I started to work I was fully aware of what my normal school day is going to look like. Before finding the school for me, Headstart Group offered a lot of valuable advice on how to improve my resume and it helped me a lot.
All in all, whenever I had questions or doubts, whether they were about working or living in HK, Headstart Group was available 24/7 to answer all of my questions and provide me with most practical support.

Although tradition is still deeply embedded in Hong Kong’s society, a mixture of cultures coupled with a modern vibrance gives the city a unique energy that is rivalled by no other place in the world.
Hong Kong's education system is well established and internationally recognised
Hong Kong has one of the highest number of restaurants or cafes per capita and is also the place to score the cheapest Michelin-starred food on the planet. Go eat in the foodie’s paradise!
Hong Kong is one of the safest places in the world. This “Pearl of the Orient” ranks the 10th safest city in the world in 2019 accordingly to the law and order index.
In Hong Kong, multiculturalism is not a label, dogma or an insult; it’s a way of life. Friends are inevitably from everywhere from the east to west, you name it. Weekends are spent on the beach for morning swimming, devouring homemade Pad Thai and watching Woody Allen films.
Hong Kong may be famous for its towering skyscrapers but 60 percent of the territory is actually country park and nature reserve. Hiking the green trails is a favourite weekend pastime. Convenient transportation will get you from the urban to the wild without a hassle.

Influenced by education policies during the British colonial era, Hong Kong education system is well established and internationally recognised, where local and foreign students benefit from free high-quality education.
- The Teaching Culture
Hong Kong sits very highly on the PISA report. It is because Hong Kong has an examination-focused education culture. In the upper forms, the curriculums are to enhance examination skills. With the introduction of e-Learning and information technology in class, the classroom has become more interactive and fun.
- The Students
Over the years, the variety of nationalities of our students has become widened. In addition to the locally born children, there is an increasing number of children from Mainland China and ethnic minorities who are studying side by side. One thing has not changed: there is a high demand for English education.
- The Teachers
The government has been putting effort to enhance English learning at schools, including the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Scheme. Foreign teachers are recognised to play an important role in our students’ English education.
Headstart Group has exceeded expectation particularly being unwaveringly helpful, reliable and having the necessary information at their fingertips.
Since my initial contact I have been impressed with the professionalism of The Headstart Group and their expertise in the field of education. They have done an excellent job of matching the School/College’s needs to my professional capabilities and aspirations and the team have created opportunities for all stakeholders to thrive in the working relationship. I can say Headstart has exceeded expectation particularly being unwaveringly helpful, reliable and having the necessary information at their fingertips as and when requested without delay.
The pre-interview information was impressive and interview technique helped me secure employment. Similarly, the detailed itinerary necessary to complete paperwork for the visa and sourcing accommodation for me. All this has meant that I have quickly and happily been able to settle in to the role from overseas without a hitch. Many thanks Headstart.
