Typical amenities
The standard of accommodation in Korea is high and comparable to that of the West. Almost all teachers' apartments include:
- En-suite bathrooms with hot water and shower.
- Cooking facilities in the form of gas or electric hobs, sometimes microwave, refrigerator, kettle, pots, pans and utensils.
- Dining area with table and chairs.
- Bedroom including queen size bed with bedding.
- TV (in most cases cable).
- Access to high speed internet.
- Under-floor heating for those frosty winter months.
- Air-conditioning for those sultry summer months.
- Washing machine.
